The decision to move the Enfield Steam and Country Show away from Trent Park to Colesdale farm has been hailed a
success after attendance figures reached over three thousand over the bank holiday weekend.
The event, organised by the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport and the Hertfordshire Heavy Horse Association, was
this year moved from the borough to the rolling fields of Colesdale Farm, Cuffley for the eighth annual show.
The decision was made because of the Low emissions legislation’s brought into effect last year meant that drivers of
horse boxes and heavy lorries bringing in horses and equipment required for the show would have to pay £200 each day
they entered the zone within the M25.
But the popular all-day event held on Sunday and Monday remained a success.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
